Refund Policy

Every app and bundle on AppUnbound comes with a 14-day refund. No questions, no forms.

The short version

If an app or bundle you bought on AppUnbound is not right for you, tell us within 14 days of buying it and we will refund you in full. You do not need to explain why, fill in a form, or argue with anyone. Email hello@appunbound.com with the email address you bought with, and we will take it from there.

How to get one

Write to hello@appunbound.com from the address you used to buy, and tell us which app or bundle it is. We process refunds through the payment provider that took your money, back to the card or account you paid with. Most refunds are approved within one business day; how quickly the money lands afterwards is up to your bank, and is usually five to ten days.

What happens to the app

A refund ends your licence. Once it is issued you must stop using the app and delete your copies of it, and we withdraw your access on our side: the app leaves your library, you can no longer download it, you get no further updates or new versions, and the licence key issued to you is retired and will not be reissued. Bundles refund as a whole — every app in the bundle goes with it.

The limits

The refund window is 14 days from the moment of purchase. After that we are not obliged to refund you, though if something is genuinely broken or was misdescribed, write to us anyway — a defective or misrepresented app gets sorted out regardless of when you bought it, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything on this page.

The no-questions-asked promise is for people deciding whether software is right for them. It is not a way to acquire software for free. We decline refunds where the pattern is plainly abuse rather than a change of mind — buying a large part of the catalogue and asking for all of it back, or an account that repeatedly buys and refunds — and an account used that way can be prevented from buying again. If we ever decline a refund, we will tell you why.

If you were charged and shouldn't have been

If you see a AppUnbound charge you do not recognise, or you were charged twice, email hello@appunbound.com and we will fix it and refund you in full, whatever the date. It is faster than a chargeback, and we would much rather hear from you than from your bank.

For developers selling here

Refunds are taken out of the sale they belong to. Earnings become payable only once the 14-day refund window on a sale has closed, so a sale refunded before payout is simply never paid out, and one refunded afterwards is deducted from your next payout. See the Terms of Service for the full picture.
